Cardinal instrumentation provides a variety of means of communicating weight data to recording or computing peripheral devices. All Cardinal weight indicators include one or more RS232 compatible bi-directional ports for transmission of weight data or receipt of commands. Other Cardinal indicators offer options for RS485, fiber optic or Ethernet. An optional Allen-Bradley ® interface is also available.

Various protocols including the SMA serial interface standard for weight indicators are available. Regardless of the device you need to interface with, Cardinal has an indicator that can do it.
