This model utilizes "A" frame lever construction (shown in the picture), a variation of the basic torque lever conformation required in heavier capacity railroad track scales. Both the standard torque lever design, which is used on some of the smaller capacity scales, and the "A" frame design, provide load transmission on a true centerline to avoid any distortion of scale mechanisms that could result in reading errors.
The major feature in the Cardinal free floating scale platform is the double link suspension that eliminates wear of the self-aligning bearings and pivots. The double link system controls shock and holds pivots in their original position to prevent movement of the knife edges on their supporting bearings. All suspension parts are fitted with heat treated inserts at contact points.
This scale features the 777 digital weight indicator, a high speed dot matrix ticket printer, massive weighbridge, fast installation, tool steel pivots and bearings, and unbreakable steel levers.
