The weighing of bulk products in tanks or hoppers is an important part of many production processes. Cardinal offers a range of products that include both electronic and mechanical tank and hopper scales.

In many applications, the customer is not using the scale to buy or sell (legal for trade). In this application, typically a full electronic scale will meet the customer's requirements. However, if the tank or hopper scale is going to be used to buy or sell, then a combination of mechanical and electronic scales are recommended because the combination is legal for trade using the customer's tank or hopper. The scales can be used with any combination of Cardinal's digital weight indicators.
