Cardinal Scale Manufacturing Company is proud to be a part of the Webb City and Joplin area communities. Our employees feel this a wonderful place to live in and are active participants in local charity work. As an organization, Cardinal Scale believes that businesses should strive to make the community it operates in a better place. Cardinal Scale offers its employees Community Service Days where employees and family members volunteer and work to improve their community. Cardinal Scale employees have worked in Par Hill park planting trees after the May 2011 tornado in Joplin. Cardinal Scale employees have worked on landscaping and general clean up at the Children’s Center in Joplin, Carterville Elementary school in Webb City, Madge T. James School in Webb City, with many more exciting projects coming up!

Cardinal Scale also has a Charity of the Quarter where employees learn about the charity, learn about volunteering opportunities, and raise money for the charity. If employees donate a certain amount of money to the Charity of the Quarter, they may wear blue jeans on Fridays to work. Also, the department that raises the most money throughout the year receives a pizza party and plaque at the end of the year.
